Side Lying Arm Fans Tutorial
Side Lying Arm Fans is a powerful move from our MELT Performance Program designed to increase the stability of your shoulder girdle by targeting the rotator cuff. Once you learn how to reintegrate the stability of your rotator cuff, you’ll repattern external rotation using this newfound stability. This video uses a MELT Performance Band and is ideal for anyone who plays a swing sport, does yoga, rock climbs, or weight lifts.
You can perform this move on it's own, in tandem with Side Lying Backhand, or add it to the Advanced Upper Body Compression Sequence to create a more comprehensive upper body map. To experience this move as part of a sequence, watch the Upper Body Stability Sequence.
